Philosophy of care
I believe in a patient and clinician partnership/collaboration to build a trusting relationship. I educate patients to help them understand their health care and achieve better health outcomes.Why I entered medicine
As a daughter of a migrant family, I witnessed the struggle of patients who do not speak English trying to navigate the health care system. I wanted to be able to make a difference and help others, and realized I would be able to do that in health care.Community involvement
I participate in walks that support ways to combat different diseases.Personal interests
