Quality eye care starts with seeing the patient as a whole, not just as a pair of eyes. I believe that health care is at its best when doctors and patients work as a team to come up with the best plan for each individual. Why I entered medicine
I always knew that I wanted to work in health care, and I grew up watching my mom enjoy her job as a physical therapist. When I first learned about optometry, I thought back to receiving my first pair of glasses as a child and how exciting it was to see the world clearly for the first time. I wanted to be able to share that “wow” moment with my patients. Community involvement
